Who belongs to the beautiful culture of mariachi, folklorico and traditions

Who is an older sister to Sofia and Carlos and the first daughter to my mother and father

Who loves how loving her Mexican culture and how hard working they are

Who feels like in the end she will make it out successfully and all the sacrifices will be worth it

Who needs to follow the footsteps of my ancestors and keep pushing never giving up

Who gives all she has to be the change in a minority group called Latinix

Who would love to see all of her Latinix community stand up and succeed in this world

Because we have so much to offer from our language, culture and traditions

We are the definition of strong
