Where I am From Poem
I am from tierras mojadas, from tequila and anajes.
I am from the a place which is cloudy and comfortable
I am from a place which agave is most known for making everyone happy
I’m from where making tamales and atoles, while listening to mariachi is just happiness
I’m from Figueroa, and Verduzco
I’m from the offer help, but don’t expect help in return
From treating others as you want to be treated, and respect is not earned is given to everyone
I’m from, Jesus’ sacrifice is a journey of love which which starts in baptism and goes all the way with you until my last breath
I’m from the Chicano's main meeting point and where gold sunsets are to live for, where the chilaquiles dish sounds good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, accompanied with a good agua de horchata.
From the blacksmith and locksmith workshop was my grandpa and family’s business which every family member got to spend time, and got to learn a skill.
While I’m also from the other side of the family which I got to spend time in the grandparents Hacienda and lands they have, while listening to my uncles and parents life experiences.
